Microsoft Purview | Data Loss Prevention: Performance improvement for Microsoft Teams DLP policies
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention is getting an upgrade to improve performance by blocking sensitive information from being shared through Teams chat and channel messages. This update is set to roll out from mid-October to mid-November and will enhance the speed of identifying and classifying sensitive content shared within Teams, enabling quicker enforcement of DLP policies. Admins will notice reduced latency between the detection of policy breaches and the enforcement of defined policy actions, such as blocking or delaying sensitive content from being shared. There is no action required from users to enable this update, and they can get started with Data Loss Prevention for Teams on the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
