Microsoft 365 Groups membership and ownership quirks persist even in 2023

Microsoft 365 Groups membership and ownership are governed by some simple rules, yet even in 2023 the various administrative endpoints fail to provide consistent experience. Whereas on Exchange Online side, an owner must also be a member of the Group, the Graph API ignores this requirement.
