Microsoft Viva: Manage spotlight settings in Viva Connections

Microsoft Viva has launched a new feature that gives users greater control over the spotlight section in Viva Connections. As a result, Operators can now pin specific items, including hyperlinks from external sources, onto the spotlight section. Additionally, they can choose SharePoint sites as content sources to dynamically populate the spotlight section. This enhanced control over the spotlight section offers a more personalized and tailored Connections experience, making it easier for users to find the information they need.

This new feature is currently in Targeted Release and is expected to be released in May CY2024. It is available on both desktop and cloud platforms, including GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, and GCC High.
