Microsoft Teams: Force Public Preview Setting

Microsoft Teams: Force Public Preview Setting

This article discusses the latest update to Microsoft Teams Public Preview, which provides early access to pre-release features for quality testing, internal planning, and adoption training. Currently, Public Preview is enabled on a per-user basis, and end-users have to opt-in to join the preview. Microsoft Teams is adding a new value named 'Forced' to the Teams admin policy to allow IT admins to move users to Public Preview without requiring them to take an extra step to opt-in via Teams app. This feature is expected to roll out in early March 2023 and complete by mid-March 2023. IT admins can manage this policy via the Teams Admin Center or PowerShell. The article also encourages users to provide feedback through the Help section in Teams to shape the Microsoft Teams experience.

For anyone interested in gaining early access to upcoming Teams features, this update is a helpful tool, making it even easier to get involved in the Public Preview program.
