Learn All the Shortcuts!!!

Learn All the Shortcuts!!!

If you're a Visual Studio user, you might want to check out the Learn the Shortcut extension by Mads Kristensen. It's a simple tool that outputs shortcuts for actions you perform within Visual Studio, helping you learn valuable time-saving keystrokes.

When you execute an action that has an associated shortcut, the extension displays it in a custom output window where you can reference it as you work. This is helpful for not only the shortcuts you know of and want to learn but also those you didn't even realize existed.

For example, the extension can teach you the CollapsetoDefinitions shortcut or the RunAllTests shortcut -- shortcuts that you might not have thought to search for yourself. Once you use them a few times, they become second nature, eventually simplifying your workflow.

If you're interested in optimizing your use of Visual Studio, give this extension a try! It only costs a little time to download, install, and restart the software, but it offers potential value far beyond what you might expect in return.
