Azure AD introduces native Certificate-based authentication
Azure AD has recently introduced native Certificate-based authentication (CBA). While CBA has been a standard authentication method for some organizations, it has been a less common feature of cloud apps. However, Office 365 has supported CBA as a part of federated authentication flows for some time now, with CBA requirements continuing to surface in organizations that rely on it.
This new feature in Azure AD provides streamlined support for CBA to all cloud resources and applications. It eliminates the need for CBA integration with Microsoft Intune or another third-party mobile device management (MDM) solution. This feature also enhances security as certificates must be renewed periodically, which provides extra layers of authentication protection.
If your organization requires CBA, this new feature provides an improved authentication option to secure cloud resources and applications. Check out the link in the description for more information.
