Updated and more comprehensive Microsoft Teams app usage report for administrators

Teams administrators have reason to be excited as Microsoft's product team has revealed an updated version of Teams app usage report. The report includes significant enhancements like usage of line of business (LoB) apps, streamlined metrics, tenant level install trend, and data on the tenant's system-wide usage of Microsoft, 3P, and LoB apps. This will enable admins to measure app usage across the entire organization with greater accuracy and clarity. The new report will be made available to public/GCC cloud customers in late September and eventually to GCCH and DoD cloud customers. Consequently, the existing Teams app usage report available in Teams admin center will be retired by early October; the updated version will roll out in both Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center. Administrators are advised to visit the provided documentation for more details on these changes.
