The new look for model driven Power Apps is available now in preview
If you're a Power Apps user, you'll be glad to know that the new model-driven app experience is now available in public preview. This new experience comes packed with a host of new features and controls that promise to enhance the user experience and streamline workflows. But before diving into the details, the blog post provides some context regarding these enhancements and their plans for the future.
The new model-driven app experience gives app makers the ability to configure richer forms with more capabilities, better responsiveness, and improved navigation. They've also added new metadata-driven app logic, which enables users to configure form metadata, show/hide, enable/disable controls, and define business rules and validations, all based on data model metadata.
In addition to the model-driven app experience, the post also includes an update on new controls and capabilities coming to canvas apps in the spring timeframe. These updates will include improvements to the form designer, new control types, new formatting options, and advanced data validation.
Overall, this new model-driven app experience promises to provide Power Apps users with a more streamlined, intuitive, and powerful app-building experience, allowing them to create better apps faster.
