Announcing the General Availability of Azure Virtual Desktop Insights at Scale
Today we’re very pleased to announce the general availability of Azure Virtual Desktop Insights at Scale! This new feature builds on the capabilities of Azure Virtual Desktop Insights, which enabled reviewing information related to a single host pool at a time. Azure Virtual Desktop Insights at Scale allows for reporting of key information across resources in one view, including the ability to view diagnostic and connection information across multiple subscriptions. It also requires no additional configuration or setup for existing users of AVD Insights.
What’s new?
Based on feedback collected during the public preview we’ve introduced several of the most requested features, including unified user searching across host pools, user usage times and idle session host reporting, and the ability to select and deselect all host pools and resource groups.
Key Benefits
- Ability to report across multiple host pools, resource groups, and subscriptions at once.
- New Round-Trip Time reporting by gateway region.
- Updated utilization details with resources accessed by region and idle session host reporting.
- Ability to search for users across host pools and get session information.
- No new configuration required for existing AVD Insights users.
