While there are over 700,000 open cybersecurity jobs in the US alone, many still find it difficult to make headway in the industry.

Ann and AJ discuss the need to diversify talent pools, the qualities that lead to successful careers in cybersecurity, essential courses and certifications to consider, and the role of education in preparing people for careers in the field. They also delve into why employers often have high entry bars for their cybersecurity programs and highlight programs and communities that aspiring cybersecurity professionals should be aware of.
