Variations on like for like comparison - Unplugged #45

In this episode of Unplugged, we explore how to answer a student's question about a variation of the like-for-like calculation. Specifically, the student is interested in computing sales in stores other than the base store, considering only those stores that have the same product assortment. This is an interesting twist on the traditional like-for-like comparison, which compares sales in stores that are geographically close and have a similar product mix.

Through this video, you'll learn how to approach this problem and calculate the sales for the selected stores using Excel. We'll walk you through each step, highlighting the key formulas used and explaining the reasoning behind them. By the end of the video, you'll have a better understanding of how to perform like-for-like comparisons with a twist.

Whether you're a student looking to enhance your analytical skills or a business analyst looking for new ways to analyze your sales data, this video will provide you with valuable insights and techniques.
