73%: The Hybrid Work Paradox
The pandemic has caused a significant shift in work culture, leading to the emergence of hybrid work. But this shift has resulted in a paradox that companies need to address. In the first episode of the WorkLab podcast, Microsoft 365 leader Jared Spataro talks with host Elise Hu about the new challenge. According to a survey, 73% of people worldwide want the flexibility of remote work, but at the same time, they also want more in-person time with colleagues. This paradox has put companies in a difficult position where they have to strike a balance and provide both options to their employees.
In the podcast episode, Spataro talks about ways to solve this paradox and how companies can adjust their policies to accommodate this new hybrid work culture. For businesses to succeed in this new environment, they need to find ways to meet the needs of their employees while also ensuring that productivity remains high.
