Microsoft Loop – Microsoft 365 Groups for Managing New Loop workspaces

Microsoft 365 Groups can now be used to manage new Loop workspaces, ensuring efficient governance and compliance similar to SharePoint Team sites. This feature, which aligns with Roadmap ID 422728, will be rolled out from late January to late February 2025 without requiring any preparatory action from users. When creating a new Loop workspace, users can select an existing Microsoft 365 Group to manage the workspace's lifetime, governance, and compliance, just like SharePoint Team sites. This change will automatically reach your tenant, and there is nothing you need to prepare in advance for. This information is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 422728.
