New: Makers can now proactively request Power Apps premium licenses for their users

Power Apps has recently introduced a new feature that allows makers to proactively request premium licenses for app users. This feature aims to simplify the process of requesting licenses for users and offers makers more control over the licensing process.

The feature is designed to work during the app share experience- makers can now request licenses for app users directly within the Power Apps platform. After submitting the request, a confirmation message is displayed at the top of the page to confirm the success of the request.

This new feature will eliminate the need for users and makers to go through the traditional licensing process that involves contacting support or navigating through several pages to request licenses.

Overall, the new functionality in Power Apps streamlines the licensing process and gives makers more autonomy while making it easier for users to access premium features.

Read more about this new feature on the Power Apps Blog.
