Collaborate in Teams meetings with Excel Live
In Microsoft Teams meetings, collaborating and sharing Excel workbooks is now made easier through the feature of "Excel Live". This tool enables you to immediately turn the window canvas into an Excel workbook without switching screens, making it convenient to collaborate in a meeting. For example, you can use this feature to work collaboratively on a budget sheet with your colleagues. During a meeting, you can select an Excel workbook through the Share tray and give access to all participants to edit and make contributions. This feature is supported on Desktop, Mac, and Mobile, with web support coming soon. This update is expected to roll out from mid-October to late November and no action is required by the user to enable this feature.
This new update from Microsoft Teams is a welcome addition to the already popular platform, making it even easier and more efficient for teams to collaborate on a variety of tasks.
