Delegation improvements Async, UpdateIf, and miscellaneous functions

Delegation improvements Async, UpdateIf, and miscellaneous functions

Power Apps users rejoice! The latest update brings several key delegation improvements aimed to improve app performance and accuracy while reducing formula confusion. One such improvement focuses on Power Fx query expressions, such as Filters, that retrieve data. Previously, Power Apps displayed a double blue underline to indicate potential delegation issues, but this update removes those underlines and delegates operations automatically.

In addition to automatic delegation, other improvements include the ability to send asynchronous requests using Async, update data selectively using UpdateIf, and support for additional miscellaneous functions.

These improvements promise to make app authoring smoother and less error-prone, while also giving users greater control and flexibility over their app's functionality. So if you're a Power Apps user looking to streamline your app development process while enjoying greater performance, this update is definitely worth checking out.
