Announcing Public Preview of canvas built-in offline
Microsoft has announced the public preview of the canvas built-in offline feature for mobile applications on iOS, Android, and Windows devices. This experimental feature makes it easy to enable your Dataverse-centric canvas Power Apps for offline scenarios, using simple switches and a canvas control. With this feature, there's no need to use Power Fx SaveData/LoadData.
By using this offline feature, mobile users will experience improved user experiences, as they can continue to use the app with no internet connection, and once a connection is established, any changes made offline will sync with the cloud. The Canvas built-in offline feature is an essential part of the Power Platform, as it provides a seamless, no-code/low-code solution for building custom mobile applications that function seamlessly like enterprise-grade apps.
If you're interested in trying out this public preview feature, it's available for canvas Power Apps and mobile platforms. Simply follow the link to the Power Apps blog post to learn more about how to enable the feature and start building offline Power Apps that take your organization to the next level.
