Managed identity and service principal support for Azure DevOps now in General Availability (GA)

Managed identity and service principal support for Azure DevOps now in General Availability (GA)

Azure DevOps users can now benefit from Managed Identity and Service Principal support which came out of public preview in March and is now generally available. By using Managed Identity, customers can achieve seamless authentication and take advantage of Azure Active Directory integration to better manage security policies. Service Principal support ensures easy automation for a more efficient development pipeline.

The feedback from the public preview was overwhelmingly positive and Microsoft is grateful to those who have implemented a managed identity within their apps and tools. By making Managed Identity and Service Principal support generally available, Azure DevOps users can expect a more streamlined development experience with improved security and automation capabilities.
