Signaling Epic when guest drops out from initial lobby

Microsoft has made an update to the EHR Connector which will allow them to track when a guest leaves the initial lobby during a virtual visit via Teams for healthcare providers that use Epic. Prior to this update, the disconnect signal was not being sent to Epic when a guest left the meeting from the initial lobby. This will help the EHR Connector to improve its ability to log the status of patients waiting in the lobby. This update will begin rolling out in mid-June 2023 and it is expected to complete by late June 2023. No action is required from organizations using the EHR Connector.
