Why can't Power BI connect to my cloud source???

In this video, Adam tackles a common issue that Power BI users face when trying to connect to cloud data sources such as Azure SQL Database. Despite both being in the cloud, connecting to a cloud data source can still be a challenge.

Adam presents a few factors that users need to consider. These include:

  • Firewalls: Ensure that the required ports are open and that the necessary IP addresses are allowed through the firewall.
  • Credentials: Double-check that you have the right credentials for your data source, and that your security settings are configured correctly.
  • Permissions: Make sure that you have the necessary permissions to connect to your data source and access the required data.

By addressing these considerations, users can generally resolve connectivity issues and connect to their cloud data source with ease.

If you're struggling to connect Power BI to your cloud data source, this video is the perfect resource to help you troubleshoot the issue.
