REST Endpoint Invocation is now Generally Available
The wait is over! The Engineering and Product Management teams at Azure SQL have announced that External REST Endpoint Invocation is now officially Generally Available (GA).
So what is External REST Endpoint Invocation, you might ask? It's a feature that allows developers to call REST/GraphQL endpoints from within Azure SQL Database, simplifying the process of coordinating access to RESTful APIs for Azure services.
With this announcement, developers using Azure SQL Database can now incorporate External REST Endpoint Invocation into their workflow with ease, using it to enhance and streamline their RESTful API interactions with other Azure services.
If you're a developer looking for a more seamless way to integrate external RESTful APIs into your Azure-based projects, External REST Endpoint Invocation may very well be worth checking out!
