Microsoft Edge: Enhanced security mode on by default

Microsoft Edge has taken a significant step towards enhancing its security measures by turning on Enhanced Security Mode by default. This applies to Balanced mode for x64 Windows, x64 macOS, x64 Linux, and ARM64 systems. In addition, administrators now have two new policies available to manage the Enhanced Security Mode user experience, including EnhanceSecurityModeIndicatorUIEnabled and EnhanceSecurityModeOptOutUXEnabled. These measures aim to help users browse the Internet more safely and securely.
For those who want to learn more about this update, Microsoft has provided details on its website. The updated security measures will be available worldwide through standard multi-tenant Cloud instances, with the general availability release phase set for July 2023.
If you're a Microsoft Edge user or administrator, this is an important update to be aware of. It's a significant step in the direction of safer web browsing, and the policies will help in managing the Enhanced Security Mode user experience.
