Microsoft Teams: Wired headset support for the Walkie Talkie app for iOS

Microsoft Teams will soon support wired headsets for the Walkie Talkie app on iOS, allowing hands-free and push-to-talk operations. The rollout begins in early March 2025 and will be completed by mid-March 2025. No admin action is required, but user notification and documentation updates are recommended. If your organization does not support iOS, you can safely ignore this message. Coming soon for Microsoft Teams: We will introduce support for wired headsets in the Walkie Talkie app for iOS, enhancing communication flexibility and convenience. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025. How this will affect your organization: This change will be available by default. What you need to do to prepare: This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout.
